The Tri Delta house is located on the southeast corner of Greek Row at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Our house is one of the oldest Greek Houses on campus and has a beautiful design; we love to call it our home. Tri Delta is centrally located; we are close to the Student Union, parking garages and downtown Lincoln, which is full of great shops and restaurants to visit with your sisters.
Our bedrooms range in size from 2 to 5 members with our biggest room able to fit 9 members comfortably. The Tri Delta house is equipped with wireless internet, 2 DVR's, a 24-hour mini-kitchen, free laundry and printing, a study room with 8 computers available to all members, a personal chef, and free tutoring all available for our sisters. This year, we have 58 members living in the Kappa Chapter house along with our wonderful House Mom, Vicki.
Our house holds over a hundred years of history and is registered as a historic landmark with the city of Lincoln. The fence surrounding the yard was actually donated by General John J. Pershing, who had two sisters who lived in the house.
Recently, our house has undergone multiple extensive renovations. In 2009, the first floor was completely remodeled; it now has a southern feel with its yellow and coral decor. In 2010, our Parent’s Club generously helped remodel our informal TV room, and the Chapter was able to purchase brand new computers for the Study Room. In 2013, all of the upstairs bathrooms were remodeled and updated with beautiful decor. And just over this past summer, all windows in every bedroom were replaced, the basement was repainted, and the storage in our mini-kitchen expanded.
